Sister. Friend. Wife. Mom. Assistant. Partner. Coach.
God not only prepares us ahead of time for things to come on our journeys, but He provides continuing guidance and education for us along the way. God teaches us by way of examples, taking us through situations that allow us to gain perspective, experience, and hopefully, wisdom. Then, we are meant to take that wisdom and reach behind us, to help others through that similar experience. Each of us is meant to take the hand of others and walk with them for a while, help them further their journey. And each of us is meant to look ahead, for that next hand to hold and guide us on our journey. For that reason and many more I am always learning, continually reaching in front of me and behind me, for hands to hold. Together, we are all holding hands, connected as the body of Christ, as we walk through life. We are not alone.
This site is me doing my part to hold hands and walk for a while with those people God sends my way. It is a long-awaited culmination of God's calling for me and His ongoing teaching of how to serve Him and care for the physical body of my spiritual family. It is my joy and pleasure for this site to finally arrive so I can see even more amazing and awesome things our God has planned. I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of seeing the amazing things He does.
Above all, this site will aim to glorify God by being centered on Him. Our bodies house the Living God. Our physical bodies have become the temple of God. We need to take care of the temple of God, not simply for esthetic beauty, as society is always telling us, but to make the temple holy, set apart for Him, and to be physically ready for the challenges we will face along life's journey. OUR journey. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We need to strengthen our physical bodies and keep them as healthy as possible so that we can be ready to do the physical work God has prepared for us to do. This site will aim to help you (and me!) strengthen our physical bodies, mind, and spirit, for together we form the Body of Christ. The Body has work to do in this world. LET'S DO IT!
I am so excited we are here! Stay tuned as I get articles written, practical, easy to follow tips posted (and sent to your email if you'd like to subscribe), as well as fun, LIVE meet-up events (classes!) scheduled for us to enjoy together.
Please pray for me in this endeavor. Thank you!
Your sister in Christ,
Robin
